This might be the Rockin’est New Year’s Eve ever, now that Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and Florence + the Machine have joined an already-impressive lineup for Dick Clark’s annual Times Square bash.

Minaj, LMFAO and Florence will bring even more energy to a program that is not lacking for exciting musical acts. The lineup for the 2012 New Year’s special has been growing since Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga were announced as performers back in October.

Entertainment Weekly reported the new additions, who join Pitbull, Hot Chelle Rae, Gym Class Heroes, OneRepublic, Taio Cruz, Blink 182, will.i.am, Christina Perri and the Band Perry. A handful of the acts, including Bieber and Gaga, will perform in New York City, while the rest will be filmed from Los Angeles, according to Dick Clark Productions.

Clark and Ryan Seacrest will host the event from ABC Studios in NYC, with Jenny McCarthy reports from Times Square itself and Fergie covering the L.A. portion of the show.
