NJ Gray Thursday and Black Friday Store Hours

Christmas will be here before you know it. Every year, the big box stores open earlier and earlier. While 'Black Friday' is a tradition, 'Gray Thursday' is gaining steam.

Gray Thursday is Thanksgiving Day and has become quite controversial. While many stores like Costco, BJ’s, TJ Maxx, Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Depot, Lowes, Marshall’s, Home Goods and Pier One have publicly refused to open on Thanksgiving Day, many of your faves may be open before the turkey hits the table.

According to The Black Friday.com, these chains will open on Grey Thursday:

Best Buy: open 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving night.

Sears: open Thanksgiving at 6 p.m..

Target: open Thanksgiving at 6 p.m.

Macy’s: open Thanksgiving at 6 PM

JC Penney: open Thanksgiving at 3 p.m.
