Monmouth County is Home to NJ’s #1 High School

U.S. News and World Report annual Best High Schools list was released today and NJ's top ranked school is in Monmouth County. 

Biotechnology High School on Kozloski Road in Freehold topped the list of best schools in NJ. High Technology High School in Lincroft was a close second.

Honorable mentions go to #6 on the list Academy of Allied Science in Neptune, Marine Academy of Science and Technology in Highlands ranked 16.

It's worth noting that not one Ocean County school was in the top 40. While the exact reasoning for that is unknown, the majority of the schools on this rundown are specialty institutions which traditionally have lower student-to-teacher ratios, higher test scores and, of course, funding.
