After days of near record or record warmth at the Jersey Shore, it should come as no surprise that our odds of a White Christmas are pretty slim, and meteorologists are now confirming it.

Here at the Jersey Shore we all know how quickly weather can change, so just because it's been warm, it doesn't necessarily mean that it won't be snowing in ten days. This time though, it doesn't look that way. You can blame El Nino.

The meteorologists at accuweather.com say that even areas that normally have a good shot at a White Christmas probably won't have one this season. As a matter of fact, nearly the entire eastern half of the United States would fall in the "Not Likely" part of the White Christmas map.

About two thirds of the U.S. have little chance of a White Christmas, which is bad news for those who dream of one, but good news for those who are planning some traveling around New Jersey for the holidays.

I like the thought of a little snow this time of year, but just the thought of it. If the only snow I notice is on cards, decorations and in songs, that would be ok with me.
