Nylabone Puppy Starter Kit Recalled

Before you toss your pup that bone, read this!

A popular NJ-based company has issued a recall of their pet toy due to health risks.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration issued a notice that Nylabone Products of Neptune City is recalling a specific lot 1.69 oz. packages of Puppy Starter Kit dog chews.

They could potentially be contaminated with salmonella, making them dangerous for both pets and owners who handle the toys.

The affected products are 1.69 oz. packages of Nylabone Puppy Starter Kit chews with an expiration date of 3/22/18, Lot #21935, and UPC 0-18214-81291-3, all located on the back of the package.

No illnesses have been reported yet, but if you have the affected product, you should take it away from your dog immediately, and be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling it.
