Car loads of families are arriving at the Robert J. Miller Air Park in Berkeley Township for the annual Ocean County Fair. The six-day event kicked off this evening at 5 p.m. and will run until Sunday. Other than the ever popular 4-H exhibits, prize animals, pig races, rides, county services displays, carnival food offerings and more, fair organizers are introducing a special Country weekend this year.

The Ocean County fair web site said: "on Saturday, beginning around 6:00 will be Country Line Dancing with Billy and Lisa. There will also be shows by Cowboy Larry, showcasing cowboy skills like trick riding, roping, whip cracking, and sharp shooting."

On Friday, there will be a concert by After the Reign for a night of music and dancing. Laurita Winery will also be on hand for a second year with a selection of wines for purchase.
