JS Event Will Teach The Dangers Of Addiction & Drunk Driving

Coming up on Friday, February 22nd is the 3-D Drinking, Drugging and Driving, Always a Choice, Never an Accident Event that is being hosted by the Ocean County Health Department at the Ocean County Mall.

Head to Center Court at 10:00 AM to learn about the dangers of operating a vehicle under the influence and the dangers of addiction and the various prevention options that are available here at the Jersey Shore.

The event will include:

• Simulated DUI Stops and Fatal Vision Goggle Demonstrations at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm
• Regulatory issues concerning DUI in New Jersey provided by the Ocean County IDRC
• Safety information provided by the New Jersey State Highway and Traffic Safety Administration

Attendees will get to see The New Jersey Intoxicated Driving Program, elected officials, educators, students, counselors, law enforcement professionals, prevent specialists abd members of our military. The will also be guest speakers and a few include but are not limited to Gerry P. Little, Peter A Curatola and Daniel E. Regenye.
