Ocean Township car burglary suspect arrested and charged

An Ocean Township (Monmouth County) man was arrested around 3:30 am Friday morning by police responding to a report of car burglaries in progress.

Ryan Dawe, 19, was arrested in the West Allenhurst section where police also found him in possession of a number of stolen items.

He was also found to be in possession of marijuana, Xanax pills and drug paraphernalia and was charged with 12 counts of Burglary, four counts of Attempted Burglary, four counts of Theft, Criminal Trespass, Possession of Burglar Tools, Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams, Possession of Xanax pills and Drug Paraphernalia.

Dawe was transported to the county jail pending an appearance in court.
