Our Point Pet of the Week is a handsome boy with a speckled nose. Here's why he is now in a shelter.

The Monmouth County SPCA says that Rojo is a 2-year old Terrier mix who was surrendered to the shelter by his Ocean Township family when their landlord no longer wanted to allow them to have pets in their home.

Rojo prefers to be the only dog in a home (the King of is Castle!)

This adorable dog is a very smart boy who knows his basic commands and is always ready to learn more, especially if you come with a treat in hand. He has even learned to ring a bell for treats! Such a smart boy :)

Rojo loves his human friends and enjoys taking walks with them or having play time with his tennis balls in the park.

And he loves to snuggle and appreciates a nice, comfy bed to crawl into for a nice nap. This sweetheart is a lover and gives kisses and cuddles to his human friends. Can't you take him home?
