The Point's One Hit Wonders softball team debuted last night at Toms River South and the night was fun, but the results did not wind up in the One Hit Wonders favor.

Yes, the scoreboard revealed a Mets-like loss to the Toms River Police Department last night (a 24-12 trouncing), but the score didn't tell the whole story. There were a lot of laughs and great sportsmanship, too.

And our team played a good game overall, including a legitimate base hit for our midday host Nicole Murray and a solid performance from news guy Vin Ebenau and weekend host Tommy Lynch.

I had a blast doing the play by play from the booth, along with Marketing Director, Ted Maturo with an assist from Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little.

If you missed last night's game, or your just sick of watching the Mets lose or the Yankees win, come out to see the game played in a way you may have never seen before! Stay tuned for the announcement of our next game!
