A 30 degree swing and covered windshields and slippery roads are the latest gift given to us by a winter that just won't believe it's spring here in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

After some nasty wind and rain yesterday, the temperatures plummeted and leftover precipitation turned into some freezing rain and wet snow, and it is enough to complicate another early morning commute.

Meteorologist Alan Kasper's forecast is calling for a cold day today with some wind and temperatures in the upper 40's, but it will be clear. Then temperatures drop either right around or just below freezing again tonight.

We'll barely get into the 50's tomorrow and then the mid 50's on Friday. Maybe we got a little spoiled by some great temperatures this past weekend, but, come on, don't we deserve a little warmth?
