Two teen brothers invite you to see their holiday village as they raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Each year since they were toddlers, James (now 16) and Matthew (now 13) create a Christmas miniature village. It's comprised of Dept. 56/Lemax buildings and accessories that their family has collected for the past 20 years. This year's display sits on a 15 ft x 20 ft platform and consists of over 70 buildings, hundreds of accessories and countless trees and shrubs.

When Sandy struck the shore in 2012, James and Matthew decided to transform the family's garage into a "Jersey Shore Christmas". They sent out flyers to friends, family and neighbors, inviting all to their 'open garage' to see their village. A crowd of two hundred people attended and were very impressed with their display. Christmas music was played and hot chocolate and dessert was served to all. Using clues, the boys created a village Eye Spy game for the kids, but the adults would soon want to solve the clues as well.

This year's Jersey Shore Christmas is being held, once again, in the family's garage this Friday, December 18th, 2015, from 6 pm - 9 pm, and Saturday, Dec. 19th, 6 pm - 9 pm, at 28 Sugar Maple Drive in Red Bank. Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

This is the fourth annual Jersey Shore Christmas Village 'open garage', and James and Matt have both put so much time, hard work, and effort into this year's display. They are hoping the community will come out to support them.

Great job, Glynn family!
