Start the weekend with some savory and sweet treats, live music, rolling video games and more on Friday, May 12th at the 3rd Annual Food Truck Fest at Middletown High School South from 4 to 9 PM.
Friday night warm up to the weekend with a bonfire on the beach on 5th Avenue Beach in Asbury Park.
Argh! Saturday, May 13th at 9 AM it’s Pirate Day on 8th Avenue Beach in Belmar. All young pirates are welcome to join in on a treasure hunt and prizes for the best pirate costume.
Get up close and personal with animals at the Spring Livestock Expo with the Monmouth County 4H Club at Thompson Park in Lincroft on Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Check out the Classic Car Show for a Cure at the Port Monmouth Fire Company on Saturday, May 13th from 10 AM to 3 PM with lunch, raffles, and music to benefit pancreatic cancer research.
Take Mom to the Spring Craft Market & Art in the Park at Historic Village at Allaire Park on Saturday, May 13th starting at 10 AM. Artists will be showcasing paintings, pottery, textiles, and more.
Looking for a summer job? It's the Spring job fair at Casino Pier Saturday 12pm to 3 pm.
Is your mom on the adventurous side? Take her to Mother’s Day Sandwiches and Tea at Harley Davidson in Long Branch Saturday at noon.
Make your mom a Pupcasso at the Paws for Mom event at the Hungry Puppy in Farmingdale from 1-3 PM.
We’ve seen the Kentucky Derby, how about some Roller Derby for your weekend? Jersey Shore Roller Girls host their season opener Saturday, May 13th at Winding River Skating Center in Toms River at 6pm, 21 and over to drink. Jersey Shore Roller Girls are partnering with Move for Hunger collecting nonperishable food items at the game.
Sunday, get active with mom at the Run the Hook 5k/10k in conjunction with Clean Ocean Action in Sandy Hook at 10 AM.
Celebrate Mom at Monmouth Park on Mother’s Day with a special brunch and a family fun day, pony rides and face painting for the kids, and raffles and prizes for Mom.
On Mother’s Day take mom out to enjoy an afternoon at the Jersey Shore, walk the boards and buy her something special at the Asbury Park Spring Bazaar in Asbury Park’s Convention Hall from noon till 5pm.
