Own The Weekend With These Jersey Shore Events

Friday, June 8^th it’s the 4th Annual Middletown High School South Food Truck Festival. Featuring over 10 different Food Trucks, Activities, Live Bands, Vendors, and fun for the entire community!

Saturday, it’s National Marina Day – Pirate Spirit.  A free family day of fun and show your pirate spirit! Lots of activities for everyone! Find treasure at our flea market and take a paddle on the bay! Dress as your favorite pirate and walk the plank in our pirate parade! Prizes awarded for age groups 0-5 yrs old, 6-10 yrs old, 11-15 yrs old & 16 and up! Visit the Nature Center and learn about the animals, watch a live snake feeding, free crafts and more.  Leonardo State Marina 8 AM to 4 PM.

Saturday it’s the Downtown Spring Lake Irish Festival with Guinness and Oysters.  Live music, dancing, food, kids’ activities, shopping and more.  Noon to 5 PM Third and Morris Avenues.

Got the creepy crawlies?  Saturday, check out Bugfest 2018 at Insectropolis Route 9 in Toms River from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Sunday it’s the 48^th Annual Irish Fest at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport.  Kick off the day with a traditional Irish mass at 11am.  Followed by Irish step dancing, crafters, food, a pipe and drum competition, not one … but two human horse races, a free family fun day and more.

Saturday check out the Early Spring Flea Market at the Historic Village at Allaire from 9 Am to 4 PM.  Enjoy a day of bargains, treasures, artwork and more....Then enjoy a stroll through the Historic Village, General Store, and Village Bakery. Rain Date, June 10^th

Free Saturday Summer Concert Series at West End Park, Long Branch kicks off Saturday, June 9^th at 5 pm, with Just 6 Hours.

Sunday get in on the Fort Hancock Bicycle Tour, at Gateway National Recreation’s Sandy Hook from 10 AM to Noon.  Join a ranger on a guided bicycle tour of Fort Hancock, highlighting everything from batteries to beaches. Bring a bike helmet. This is a free event. Call 732-872-5970 to reserve.
