Start your weekend off with a trip into the city to see a free concert with Green Day.  This Friday morning Green Day will kick off ABC's Good Morning America Summer Concert Series in New York City's Central Park.  This concert is free and open to the public and will take place live during "Good Morning America," Friday from 7 AM to 9 AM.

Saturday, May 20th, the Toms River Police summer kick-off celebration takes place on the beach in Seaside Heights with fun free family activities, including the 4th Annual Pros vs. Heroes charity flag football game.  Watch as the Toms River Police Officers battle NFL pros in a family fun, flag football game on the beach, just north of Casino Pier on the beach in Seaside Heights.

On Saturday, get a Taste of Bradley Beach on the Restaurant and Shopping tour. Check in at Riley Park, kicking off at 11:30 am, follow the red balloons on Main Street.

Find the Luck of the Irish, Saturday at the Spring Lake Irish Festival on Third Avenue in Spring Lake starting at noon.

Visit Historic Longstreet Farm, Holmdel on Saturday and hear music from yesteryear played on the accordion, from 1- 3 pm.

Need a little Salsa in your life?? Saturday, May 20 the 28th annual New Jersey State Chili & Salsa Cookoff is happening in downtown Toms River along Washington Street starting at 11 a.m. with games, rides, live entertainment, and chili & salsa tasting to help determine the People’s Choice winner.  

Saturday afternoon it’s the First Annual Bayshore Food Truck and Craft Beer Fest. “Taste of Spring” takes place on Beachway and Main Street in Keansburg with live music, all kinds of tasty treats, a beer garden, and crafts for the kids and more, starting at 2pm.

Saturday and Sunday, May 20th and 21st check out Survival Beach Asbury Park 5k Obstacle Course on the beach and boardwalk with Post Race Party.

Saturday help support St. Mary’s by the Sea at their 6th Annual Walk-A-Thon from 11 AM to 3 PM in Ocean Grove. Let’s walk together to help women with cancer heal: mind, body, and soul. Since beginning our mission in 2009, they have supported nearly 7,000 women, FREE OF CHARGE because of your support!

Saturday and Sunday it’s the Jeep Thing and Food Trucks Fest at Laurita Winery in New Egypt.

Saturday, celebrate Spring at the Historic Village at Allaire for the Spring Festival. Special programs planned for the day, include a historic baseball game, a beehive oven baking demonstration, and an auction at the General Store. Baseball and baking will take place throughout the day, and the auction will take place at 2:00pm. Admission is free for this event.
