Parkway To Hold Hearing On Exit 105 Improvement
A busy exit on the Garden State Parkway will soon get a revamp and the public will have a chance to weigh in this Thursday in Tinton Falls.
Exit 105 which allows access to Routes 36 and 18 is constantly congested and a bit confusing for drivers looking to exit.
According to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, which runs the Parkway, the plan includes:
- The reconstruction of the Hope Road and NJ Route 36 intersection
- The construction of a new southbound connection from the GSP local (outer) roadway to Wayside Road
- The addition of a second northbound deceleration lane from the GSP local (outer) roadway to Interchange 105.
The hearing takes place from 4 till 6 p.m. in the Tinton Falls Municipal Courtroom on Tinton Avenue.
The Turnpike Authority is also accepting written comments about the plan until January 28, 2013. Correspondence may be sent to:
