Someone has stolen a part of the iconic Circus drive-in sign and police want your help finding the culprit.

Of course the Circus Drive-In has been in the headlines over the battle to keep it alive, and ultimately it's demolition just about a month ago. Immediately after the demolition, questions surfaced as to what would happen with the iconic sign.

The part of the sign that was stolen was not the clown portion, but the lower portion that says " Maryland Jumbo Soft Shell Crabs", according to patch.com.

It's a shame that the long and storied history of this legendary Jersey Shore establishment has to be marred with events like this.

If you have any information as to the whereabouts of the sign or any info you might have on the incident, the Wall Township Police are asking for your help on their Facebook page. You can call  Detective Jack Gramlich at 732- 449-4500 extension 1179.
