Sir Paul McCartney and his 'Jersey Girl' wife were spotted in Asbury Park over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The superstar and Nancy Shevell ate at the Monmouth County landmark, Jimmy's Italian Restaurant on Sunday. At least one gutsy fellow diner snapped a table-side photo that's been making the rounds on social media.

Aside from Shevell's Middlesex County roots as a grad of JP Stevens High School in Edison, the Asbury Park Press reports her family has ties to the Asbury area, thanks to one set of her grandparents.

Well before this Monmouth County sighting, at least one local business has been buzzing about Sir Paul ahead of his upcoming NJ concerts.

Asbury Park Brewery have tagged the rockstar in photos, urging him to have a pint that's linked to a Fab Four tribute in beer. They named their first four tanks after McCartney and his Beatles band-mates. (The brewery has since upgraded its tank tags, as seen below.)

McCartney's 'One on One' tour comes to NJ next week, September 11 and 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark.
