As the anniversary of the day that changed everything for so many people along the Jersey Shore arrives, you may be trying to figure out what to do to respectfully commemorate the date.

We have all done our part to help our neighbors in the past year. We truly saw the spirit of the Garden State at greatest time of need. So many of us were able to reach into our pockets to provide funds for those affected by Sandy, and we rolled up our sleeves as well.

Now, at the one year anniversary, we know there are still many who need our help and much that needs to be done. While the work can never stop, today is a day to briefly pause and pay tribute to all that we have been through together.

One way to do that is to join us for Light Up New Jersey tonight. All of our Townsquare stations in New Jersey will be participating at many locations throughout the Garden State. Go to our Light Up New Jersey page to check out all the locations.

Liz and I will be joining Matt Ryan for his live show from Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach while Laurie Cataldo will be live in Bradley Beach.  At locations throughout our state, we will light up New Jersey on the one year anniversary of the date we spent in the dark as Sandy tore through  our area.

Please join us for a special evening. While there, you'll be able to help Hometown Heroes as well. We got through this date together a year ago. Let's get together again tonight.
