Spring must be getting closer, because it's time to change the clocks again.

One group is hoping to change that though.

Daylight Saving Time 2013 begins Sunday, March 10th at 2 a.m. You'll need to turn your clocks ahead one hour, and we'll all be losing a precious hour of sleep!

An Ohio resident has created a White House petition to end Daylight Saving Time, saying among other things, that it's 'really annoying.'

The petition needs 100,000 signatures as of April 4th in order for it to get a response, and as of writing, there are less than 5,000 on board.

Daylight Saving is said to be responsible for an increase in heart attacks and car accidents, but I actually like it.

My whole mood brightens when we change the clocks in Spring and it stays lighter out in the afternoon. There's nothing worse than walking out of work at 5:30 p.m. to pitch-black skies.

It always seems like a slight reminder that Spring (and warmer weather) are around the corner.

Obviously, the change in the fall isn't as nice, BUT the extra hour of sleep makes up for it!

Either way, the change WILL happen this weekend, so change those clocks before you hit the hay on Saturday night.
