Phillie Phanatic Visits First Energy Park As BlueClaws Help Troops

The Phillie Phanatic will be visiting First Energy Park this Thursday, June 27th, for Military Appreciation Night, as the BlueClaws hold their annual troop supply and care package drive.

I'm a huge Mets fan and I love the Phillie Phanatic. He's so funny and entertaining that it overshadows the Mets-Phillies rivalry in my mind. If you've seen him in action in person, you know exactly what I mean and you'll want to see him again.

If you've never seen  the Phanatic in person, get to First Energy Park to see the action Thursday! At that game, boxes will be set up so you can drop off donations for the troops. Some of the items suggested for donation include razors, snacks, baby wipes, shampoo, soap, deodorant, tissues, q-tips, insect repellent, and flashlights.
