The two teens suspected in the beating death of 88-year-old veteran Delbert Belton have been identified.

16-year-old Demetrius Glenn was arrested and faces charges of 1st degree murder and robbery. He will be tried as an adult. (He is being identified for that reason.)

He is reported to have an extensive criminal record, including assault.

The second suspect has been identified as Kenan Adams Kinard, also 16. He is not yet in custody, but is expected to face the same charges.

(I find it particularly interesting -- and by that I mean incredibly offensive -- that someone who allegedly killed a veteran in cold blood has the gall to wear an American flag on his head.)

My earlier thoughts on this story hold true. It's sad that two people so young just threw their lives away, but they absolutely deserve to be brought to justice.

What should the punishment for these two individuals be? Tell us in the comment section below.
