We are halfway through Hunger Action Month, and with so many people needing help in Monmouth & Ocean counties, now is a great time to find out what you can do.

Hunger Action Month is a nationwide initiative to support hunger relief. The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties serve more than 132,000 people in our area, and 40,000 of those are children.

So, what can you do to help. Well there are several ways to get involved, such as visiting the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties' website to get information on making a donation, volunteering or to get help.

There are other ways to help as well such as running a third party event or encouraging your school to participate in a program called Students Change Hunger.

Please remember those neighbors who can use your help right here in Monmouth and Ocean Counties during Hunger Action Month. Thank you!
