We all know some record warm temperatures will be around this weekend, and we wanted to find out if Jersey Shore residents thought it was an indication of what's to come this winter.

We asked you in a poll yesterday whether you thought this upcoming warmth was a good sign or a bad sign for our Jersey Shore winter, and you didn't let us down. That Jersey Shore optimism was there in full force.

Over two thirds of you (69%) think the current weather means a warmer than normal winter for us. That's great news if you can't stand the polar vortex, or driving in and shoveling the snow.

If you love the cold of winter however, there may be some good news for you. 31% of Jersey Shore residents believe, or at least fear, that we're bound to pay for this warm December weather and predict a brutal winter.

Or maybe it doesn't have any meaning at all, right? Maybe it's just a nice warm couple of days and we should just enjoy them. We'll do that, too.
