Powerball jackpot grows again — to $400 million

No winning ticket was sold for Saturday night's Powerball drawing, meaning the jackpot will have an annuity value of at least $400 million on Wednesday.

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday night were 05, 06, 15, 29 and 42. The Powerball: number was 10 and the Power Play number was 2. Nearly 108,000 winning tickets for smaller prizes were sold in New Jersey.

Wednesday's drawing will be the sixth largest ever offered by Powerball. It has a cash value of $224.8 million. The last Powerball jackpot was won in November by a ticket sold in Tennessee.

The odds of picking six numbers and the Powerball number to claim the jackpot are 1-in-292 million according to the multi-state lottery which is played in 44 states.
