Our Point Pet of the Week really needs a forever home. Here is her story.

Princess came to the Monmouth County SPCA when her owners were no longer able to keep her in their home due to their landlord not allowing her to live there. Princess can be very shy and timid when you first meet her, but once she gets to know you she will be your cuddle buddy!

Princess loves it when you pet her and will sit really close to you and let you rub her belly once she feels comfortable around you...so please be patient and let her get over her shyness...then you will be rewarded with lots of love and snuggles!

Princess is about 4 years old and enjoys long walks and playing with toys -- squeaky toys are her favorite! This precious dog also has a serious side and can perform many commands like 'sit', 'paw', and 'down.' She is very treat-motivated so you can always teach her more!

At the end of a long day all Princess really wants is to have someone to snuggle with on the couch. So if you are interested in meeting sweet Princess, please come see her at the Eatontown location: 260 Wall Street, Noon - 7 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and Noon - 5 on Saturdays and Sundays. (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays)

For more info, call 732-542-4552 or email adoptions@monmouthcountyspca.org. Adoption counselors are standing by waiting to answer all of your questions about this beautiful dog.

Also, mark your calendar for Sunday, Jan. 29th, when the MCSPCA will be at Pups and Pints at the Beach Haus Brewery (801 Main St.) in Belmar. This is a dog-friendly event from Noon - 3 pm and will feature some adorable adoptable dogs! A $5 donation at the door includes a drink ticket. All ages are welcome but you must be 21 to drink.
