Prosecutor Sues Groundhog for Misrepresentation
Punxsutawney Phil may have crossed us for the last time!
Ohio prosecutor Mike Gmoser has indicted the famous groundhog for 'misrepresenting an early Spring.' He's even seeking the death penalty!
It all stems from the fact that on Groundhog Day, Feb. 2, Phil did not see his shadow, which should have meant only six more weeks of winter.
Considering there was snow yesterday, and more predicted for Sunday night, it's safe to say the Phil duped us all.
I think the death penalty is a little harsh, but I do think a punishment of some kind is warranted!
We're freezing our nibs off over here, Phil! What gives??
(P.S. No, they aren't really suing the groundhog, nor do they plan to hurt him in anyway, though I'm sure many of us have considered it.)
