It's been raining a lot at the Jersey Shore. But it's just a quick spring thing, right? Well actually, maybe not.

There is a report out that the northeast Unites States, including our beloved Jersey Shore, won't be completely drying out until June. According to accuweather.com, although we might see brief periods of drier weather, the overall pattern will remain a wet one, and could be around for a few weeks.

That's not exactly good news, but we asked our meteorologist Dan Zarrow, and what he said makes me feel a little better. Here's what Dan thinks.

"We are now in the rainiest part of the year for New Jersey (through September).  So it's absolutely normal to get periods of rain and cloudiness, interspersed with beautiful sunny and warm spring days.  Do I think we're going to fall into another week-and-a-half stretch of miserable weather like we experienced from late April to early May?  No way.  But I don't think we're going to enjoy a long period of dry, sunny weather either".

So, let's keep our fingers crossed for some dry, sunny weather. We've waited a long time for it and we deserve it! Check out Dan Zarrow's weather blog anytime.
