Redneck Red Bank – I Don’t Think So

We talked about a list that was published by Roadsnacks.net that named the top 10 "redneck" towns in New Jersey. A Monmouth/Ocean town didn't make the list, but newly discovered data revealed that a Monmouth county town ranked #13!

That town is Red Bank. While I'm sure if you are from or live in one of the towns that made this rundown you're going to be on the defensive. But, Red Bank? No way.

1) The definition of a redneck.

• Small towns
• Least amount of high school graduates

2) Stereotypes. (Because that’s scientific)

• Number of bars per city
• Number of mobile home parks per capita
• Number of tobacco stores per city
• Number of places to get fishing gear
• Number of guns and ammo stores per city
• Walmarts, Golden Corrals, Bass Pro Shops, and Dollar Generals nearby

Let's just say this is legit. The first town in Monmouth and Ocean to qualify is Red Bank? There are 87 other towns in New Jersey that are less "redneck" than Red Bank?

We love Red Bank too much to allow this stereotype to and ranking to stand!
