Election Day is Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

In order to vote you must be registered 21 days before the day of the election, meaning that new voter registrations or changes to current registrations must be completed by October 16, 2012.

Voter requirements:
Must be a United States citizen
Must be at least 18 years old on Election Day
Must be a resident of New Jersey and the county at least 30 days before the election

Under state and federal law, convicted criminals currently serving sentences, or those on parole or probation for indictable offenses may not vote.
