Billy Gross of Barnegat was a courageous boy who had cancer, beat it, and then had to fight it when it came back. He got to go to his prom and graduate from high school, and fought for his life with a smile on his face until his last breath. Now you're invited to a special family event in his honor.

We were blessed to have Billy visit us and come on our morning show, even while he was doing his best to battle Stage 4 Synovial Sarcoma. And battle he did. I will never forget the day he walked into our radio station as if he didn't have a care in the world....big smile on his face...spreading joy to us all. This teenager was amazing and we miss him.

If you'd like to attend a great family event and help out both Billy's family (with the mountains of medical bills they are still paying off) and Oceans Of Love, come on out to Billy's Believers Third Annual Fundraiser this Sunday, September 29th, 2013, from Noon - 4 pm in the Shore Restaurant Supply Parking Lot at 2045 Rt. 88 in Brick.

The event will feature live bands, including The Benjamins, Food, Games, Face Painting, Bouce Houses, and more. Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for kids 10 and under.

Billy lost his battle with cancer after last year's benefit, but his memory, and this event, will live on. If you can't make it but would still like to donate, contact billysbelievers2011@gmail.com for more information.

By the way, Billy's "Make A Wish" wasn't for himself, but was for his sister to meet One Direction. And after he passed, that wish came true : )
