Meet our Point Pet of the Week, saved by the Monmouth County SPCA.

Aspen is a sweet 3-year old Terrier mix who was transferred to the MCSPCA from an overcrowded shelter down south. The overcrowded shelters in the south are often high kill shelters and many animals only have DAYS to get adopted before they are put down.

Thank goodness for the amazing people at the MCSPCA who take a vehicle down south to load up dogs and save as they possibly can from those shelters, knowing that the wonderful animal lovers at the Jersey Shore will give these dogs loving homes.

Aspen is sweet, playful, and friendly and would be the perfect addition to any home. This girl is as playful as they come and there isn't a toy that she doesn't love.

This precious dog is heartworm positive but is getting full medical treatment at the shelter and she will be good as new in a few months. Heartworm positive dogs are completely curable. In fact, our very own Nicole Murray adopted Carolina, a heartworm positive dog, and Carolina is now healthy and thriving!

Aspen was given a second chance at life at the MCSPCA...but now she needs a forever home, so please spread the word and let's get her adopted!
