My family hit Toast this past Sunday. Here's my review.

We hit Toast on Monmouth Street in Red Bank at 12:30 pm this past Sunday, and it was jammed. That, my friends, is the sign of a good and popular restaurant! (I am a huge fan of Anthony Bourdain, who has told me time and again that crowded restaurants are a sign of great food!)

I loved the Reuben Sliders...best corned beef ever and these little sandwiches were stuffed with deliciousness! And Toast has the best Sweet Potato Fries!

Benj got the Cuban Sandwich and loved it, my sister-in-law got an excellent Cheese Steak, my brother got the Carrot Cake Pancakes, and my nephews got a huge, delicious bowl of Chili and Strawberry-Nutella pancakes. My nephews are 7 and 8 and they were comfortable and happy and enjoyed the food...always a good thing for parents who have to dine out with kids!

The atmosphere was festive, the food was superb, and the service was excellent. The servers were all very helpful and happy despite how much running around they had to do with the crowd.

And they are organized about getting people in and out, too. Despite the crowd, we really didn't have to wait very long at all from the time we told them our party would be arriving.

We were very happy and will be back to try some of the other awesome breakfast and lunch items on their menu!

The Toast in Red Bank is housed in a classic/historic diner. There is also another location in Asbury Park with an entirely different atmosphere (not a diner car) on Cookman Ave. but equally wonderful in every way!
