Despite all the bad press the Jersey Shore seems to always get, we know that we're actually pretty nice. So, which town is the most polite at the Jersey Shore?

That is exactly what we tried to determine in our latest Jersey Shore Poll. Now you've voted for Monmouth & Ocean Counties' most polite town and it's time for us to reveal the results.

The voting wasn't even really that close. It's unusual for us to get such a clear winner, but this time there was no doubt about it. Congratulations to the most polite town in Monmouth & Ocean Counties...Freehold.

Freehold received a whopping 48% of the vote. No other town was even close, although Point Pleasant did come in second place in the voting, getting nearly 20% of the total votes.

Coming in third place, the nice people of Wall, which received 11% of the vote. Asbury Park was third with 7% of your votes, and Brick rounded out the top 5 with 4%.

Other towns that got votes, but didn't make the top 5 included Manasquan, Union Beach, Ocean Grove and Eatontown.

We do have some really nice, really polite people in Monmouth & Ocean Counties, and we probably don't get enough credit for it, so it's nice to remind everybody once in a while!
