Facing counts of bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, Joe was facing a potential 37 to 46 months in federal prison. He was sentenced just before 1 p.m. today to 41 months by U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas, and was also ordered to pay $414,000 in restitution and a $10,000 fine. As an Italian citizen, he could face deportation after serving his time.

Teresa was facing a sentence up to 27 months, and was sentenced to 15 months, shortly before 5 p.m.

The judge has stated that the sentences would be staggered, with her serving time first, so one parent would be available to care for their four daughters.
