Meet DeeDee, our Point Pet of the Week, surrendered by her family because they couldn't take her when they moved.

DeeDee is a sweet, 6-year old Rottie mix who was with her family since she was a puppy. But they couldn't take her along when they had to move.

The family originally got DeeDee from a breeder. She is very laid back and would just love a nice, quiet home. She does have an eye condition that requires regular drops. It seems to have affected her sight a little, so she will walk close to you for guidance on her walks. She might miss a curb or other objects in her path, so she needs you to be her seeing eye human at times.

DeeDee loves going on walks, but takes little breaks along the way to lay in the grass and cuddle with her human friends. She is simply a girl who likes to stop and smell the roses. DeeDee's volunteer friends say she is perfect in the car when they take her on outings. She is able to go up a few stairs but can't get back down, so it is recommended that she goes to a home without stairs.

The volunteers say DeeDee is super sweet and wants nothing more than to please her human friends and snuggle with them.
