Just weeks after the announcement of a Red Robin restaurant coming to Brick, now a legendary chain is getting ready to set up shop in the already busy township.

Did you know Roy Rogers is still around? You do if you travel Route 9 in Ocean County where the Berkley location has been a mainstay for over 20 years and continues to serve up their signature roast beef sandwiches.

The same owner of the Berkley Roy's is planning on building a restaurant in Brick. The exact location has not been announced, however the grand opening is slated for early 2015.

Owner Ed Abramson said:

As a top requested area from our customers for opening a Roy Rogers, we couldn’t be happier to bring this new restaurant to the Brick community. Our Pine Beach restaurant has built a reputation for providing customers with great food and customer service, as well as being active in the local community. We’re excited about building this same reputation at the new Brick location.

Remember the Roy's on Route 37 in Toms River before you got to the Seaside bridge?
