Run for Women With Breast Cancer in Monmouth and Ocean Counties

Here's how you can get involved in the 18th Annual "Just Us Girls" 5K run to show your support for women in our area who have been traumatized by breast cancer.

This event takes place Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Sea Girt Army Camp. It's sponsored by the Manasquan Elks 2534 to promote breast cancer awareness.

The entry fee is $20 and includes a long sleeve shirt and free buffet and celebration at the Manasquan Elks on Stockton Lake Boulevard.

Trophies will be awarded to the first three femaile finishers in each category. Men are also welcome to participate.

An in-person registration and shirt pick-up is schedule for Oct. 25 from 5 pm - 8 pm at the Manasquan Elks. Food and drinks will be available.

Anyone registering by Oct. 25 will be guaranteed to receive a shirt.

"Just Us Girls" is the only non-profit organization that directly advocates for women in Monmouth and Ocean Counties who have breast cancer. All profits are returned to the community through individual financial awards and annual scholarships.
