Santa HQ Experience Coming to Freehold Raceway Mall for 2016

It may be really early to be talking about Santa and Christmas BUT this is totally worth it.

We got a first look at the awesome new holiday display coming to Freehold Raceway Mall for 2016 and it definitely won't be your typical mall Santa photo experience!

Sponsored by HGTV, it's called Santa HQ, and will offer the traditional Santa photo experience PLUS an augmented reality experience. (An example of augmented reality is Pokemon Go. When you look through your phone, you see Pokemon characters all around you, but they aren't actually there in real life.)

There will also be a social media component on site to make it easy to share your experience with friends and family.

Families will be able to take ELFIE selfies, make holiday videos, use "ELF-RAY vision" to explore Santa's Observatory, test out a 'Naughty O' Nice Meter,' and then of course meet the Big Guy himself to take a photo!

There will also be a light show every 20 minutes.

Santa will be in Freehold starting Friday, November 11th, and you'll find Santa HQ on the lower level at the intersection of the Nordstrom and JC Penney wings.
