You're invited to the Soul Summer BBQ at JBJ's Soul Kitchen, and it's going to be GREAT! Doors open at 4 pm this Saturday, July 14th. Here are all the details:

JBJ's Soul Kitchen on Monmouth St. in Red Bank has just begun holding barbecues on select Saturdays, and you don't want to miss this one!

So this Saturday, July 14th, Soul Kitchen will extend its normal dinner hours to host a Summer Soul BBQ, featuring delicious traditional barbecue menu items from burgers to pulled pork, chicken to veggie burgers and more, along with wonderful side dishes and dessert so that you will get an awesome meal from beginning to end.

You'll be invited to sit outside in the garden or inside the restaurant, and, this time, there will be a live jazz band playing! The name of the band is Iced Water, a teen trio from Monmouth County. Dinner and Jazz? What could be better?!

Here's what makes it better: You are dining for a great cause. For $20 a person, you get all the great food, the live music, AND your money goes towards helping those who can't afford a meal, which in the whole purpose of Soul Kitchen.

You can even be extra generous and purchase 'pay it forward' cards so that people and families in need don't go hungry.
