Saving Stray Dogs in Puerto Rico

The Point Pet of the Week is one of many 'Sato' dogs abandoned on beaches in Puerto Rico and now in need of forever homes.

Tonka is 8 years old but was found as a 3-month old puppy and lived her whole life on a cement floor. Please give this dog a soft place to rest and relax for the rest of her life!

This dog, and many more, has a story. And the Director of the Monmouth County SPCA, Jerry Rosenthal, is telling their stories after returning from Puerto Rico. He went there with a group of MCSPCA animal care and medical professionals to help the animals and staff there and bring some back here to help them find a forever home.

The MCSPCA is joining the Associated Humane Society, Rescue Ridge, and Wag On Inn to celebrate Petsmart's National Adoption Week at the Ocean Township Petsmart (2391 Rt. 66 in the Seaview Square shopping center)....and...
