WATCH: The Scariest Clown Sightings

Clowns scaring the heck out of people seems to be the popular trend this Halloween season. New Jersey hasn't been immune to the phenomenon. 

The problem is, this whole scary clown thing has gone from a harmless prank to a form of terrorism.

New Jersey officials are urging everybody not to dress as clowns for Halloween. This is especially true for children.

Understandably, the "good clowns" feel that they're getting a bad rap. There's actually a "Clown Lives Matter" march has been organized for Saturday, October 15 at The Sandcastle Diner in Beachwood.

While we've gotten our fair share of clown hysteria in NJ, this is happening all over the country.
