Scholarships are available to Monmouth County high school seniors graduating in 2019! Here are the details.

Count Basie Center for the arts has announced the availability of its annual Arts Impact scholarship money, and they have four scholarships to choose from: The Moser Taboada Arts impact Scholarship, Steven and Jamie Schultz Arts Impact Scholarship, the Siciliano Landscape Company Arts Impact Scholarship, and the Monmouth County Freeholders Basie Scholarship for Continuing Education (awarded to a student attending a New Jersey-based college in the fall.)

Each scholarship award will be for $2500 to a graduating senior who best demonstrates the impact of the arts on their life.

Students may apply for each scholarship by CLICKING HERE to get an application form, then creating an official entry packet which consists of an essay, resume, and 3 personal recommendations. The thesis of the essay and spirit of the Basie's Arts Impact Scholarship program is "The Impact of The Arts in My Life."

Applicants may submit their entire packet via the same link or print the application form for submission via U.S mail.

The deadline for this year's applications is 4 pm on Friday, March 22nd, 2019. Recipients will be announced onstage at the 14th annual Basie Awards on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 (an annual event that recognizes excellence in Monmouth County high school theatre.)
