She may be making a nice donation to charity, but why should she keep the gifts?

Kim has donated $200,000...twice the cash value of the gifts she received when she married Kris Humphries last August.

TMZ says she explained herself in a letter sent to every wedding guest: "I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together, but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation."

But Kim's 72-day hubby doesn't think that's good enough. Kris believes Kim should return the gifts...in addition to making the donation (which she can quite obviously afford to do). He apparently is telling friends he feels the guests spent their hard-earned cash on wedding gifts.

Besides, why did Kim automatically get to keep the gifts and not Kris?

Do you think there's a proper procedure or wedding etiquette for returning or keeping the gifts if the marriage only lasts a short time or is a sham to begin with, as Kris Humphries says?!
