Six Flags Great Adventure Building NJ’s Largest Solar Farm

Great Adventure is going solar!

Six Flags is building a 90-acre solar farm. At that size, it would be the largest solar farm in the state. Plus, the solar power will be able to support the entire park's electricity. That is the equivalent to 3,100 homes!

Obviously with a project like this, trees will have to be cleared. 18,000 to be exact. But, before you get bummed, Great Adventure plans on planted 25,000 new trees over the next 7 years.
