After today's underwhelming clip from 'Skyfall,' it's nice that they put out a clip with some action and excitement in it. It looks like the film opens with an insane train action set piece, and the end of it sees Daniel Craig's James Bond take a large, er, fall. Check out the clip.

The film is set to open November 9 in America (Brits get it two weeks earlier), and it began screening today, with most notices positive, and some compared it to 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service.' That film would probably be the best Bond film ever made if it didn't happen to star George Lazenby, the only person to play the character once (in canon, that is. If one includes 1967's 'Casino Royale,' Lazenby joins the ranks of David Niven, Peter Sellers, and Woody Allen). For Bondophiles, comparisons to 'OHMSS' is mighty high praise.

This also suggests that along with the recent release of 'Bond at 50' on Blu-ray, that the next month is going to be heavy on the iconic figure. But considering the wealth of good movies (along with the pile of bad ones), and the anticipation that they finally hit one out of the park, we're not complaining. Here's the clip:
