Morristown told them no and Point Pleasant Beach said "take a hike." But, one Ocean County town is allowing Nicole "Snooki" Pollizi and Jennifer "JWoww" Farley to call it their home.

Taping begins in a couple of days at a house on Johnson Road in Manchester for "Snooki & JWoww Take on the World." This is a head scratcher for many because half of the town's residents are over the age of 65.

Mayor Michael Fressola said the 43,000 residents of Manchester won't mind the Jersey Shore spin-off being taped in their town, but some have already voiced their displeasure.

MTV crews have been working around the clock renovating the home that sits next to a park and is surrounded by woods. The backyard is quickly turning into a TV set with the fence now lined with cameras and lights.

The home, which is located on 2½ acres, features four bedrooms, 4½ baths and two master bedrooms, according to Zillow.com, a real estate website. The kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The property is valued at $521,089, according to the site.

Township Police Chief Brian J. Klimakowski said he does not foresee any problems with the show filming on the street.

We have regular police patrols in the area and we do not expect the need for more,” Klimakowski said. “Before they (the production company) talked to us they did all of their homework (about the rules and regulations in the township).
