We've all enjoyed the beautiful, cooler than usual temperatures and lower humidity that have people in Monmouth and Ocean Counties using the word September more than the word August, but don't put away the summer clothes just yet.

Some meteorologists are saying that the hot, humid 90 degree days we are so familiar with here at the Jersey Shore this time of year may not be over just yet. Long range meteorologists say the northeast, including our area may be in for another hot spell.

According to accuweather.com, it looks like this time next week , the good folks of New Jersey may begin to do what we are so good at doing this time of year...complaining about the heat and humidity. The experts say we may see a hot spell with temperatures approaching 90 degrees starting around August 24th.

So, lets enjoy the cooler, lower humidity weather we've had lately, before summer makes another hot, humid appearance.
