Those of you in Tinton Falls are going to have to head out of town for your Bacon Melt and tots.

The Sonic Drive-In restaurant chain on Shrewsbury Avenue has suddenly closed without any warning or explanation why.

The former Sonic location that featured carhops on roller blades already has all of its ordering stations, restaurant signs, and menus closed down.

There is a notice on Sonic's website that this specific location is "permanently closed" and that patrons are still able to visit other Sonics in the area including Middletown and Howell.

So just this location is shut down but not the nearby locations -- doesn't that raise even more eyebrows?

Their Facebook Page also offers no clues as to why the restaurant suddenly closed and there has yet to be any comment from Sonic's spokeswoman.

We will get through this together but at least you can get your burger, hotdog, and ice cream fixes from nearby locations.
