The competition was so amazing between spelling bee contestants that it went 66 rounds and had to be halted because they literally ran out of words.

The spelling bee took place in Missouri and an 11 year old girl and 13 year old boy battled it out to see who the top speller was, and both were so good, it seemed like it would never end, and it almost wound up that way when organizers faced the unlikely situation of being out of spelling words.

The competition had already gone 66 rounds when the words ran out. Officials thought of pulling more words from the dictionary but thought it might be unfair so the event was halted and is set to resume in early March.

Some of the words that were spelled correctly during the marathon spelling bee included,  "scherzo," ''fantoccini" and "intaglio" as well as "schadenfreude, "mahout" and "barukhzy.", according to abcnews.go.com.

For the record, I don't know what any of those words mean, so don't ask me to use them in a sentence.
